Hatha refers to the practice of physical yoga postures, such as Ashtanga, vinyasa, and Iyengar classes are all Hatha Yoga. The word “hatha” can be translated two ways: as “willful” or “forceful,” or the yoga of activity, and as “sun” (ha) and “moon” (tha), the yoga of balance. Just breathe. Be present.
“I had a beautiful time in Andrea's class. Even though it was my first time with her, I felt very comfortable. I felt like I belonged. Even when class was challenging she reminded us to just breathe and be present.”
“Andrea is such a beautiful being inside and out. She really cares about her student's journey and making long lasting connections. I feel supported when I leave her class”
